Program Evaluation

Curriculum Based Assessment (CBA)
is perhaps the most research-based formative measure of student academic skills. It can be used for decision making concerning individual students, as well as programs designed to improve academic skills in reading, math or written expression. The Curriculum Based Assessment Materials Manual was created by Seth Aldrich, Ph.D. It contains a brief overview of CBA, directions for administration and scoring CBA, graphs for charting data, case studies, and assessment probes.
